Tuning into FOX on Monday for the expected re-rerun of "House, M.D.," I was annoyed to find that there was, instead, a football game. But not only was it a football game, it was a college football game. But it got worse, for not only was it college football, it was a game between two state universities, so-called educational institutions that will allow anybody to enroll. Indeed, the preferment order in one, the University of Florida, places the highest priority on the applicant whose legacy is that both parents share a bond of consanguinity not any more distant than first cousin: brother and sister is the best recommendation for admission. Wait, wasn't that the plot of a recent episode of "House?"
